We accept partners from inside and outside Germany. Required documents differ by country of seat and type of activity; you'll see the specifics in the next step.
What kind of organisation are you?
This determines which legal documents we'll request next.
Recruitment agency
You place professionals directly with employers. AÜG licence (Germany) or equivalent national registration required.
International training provider
You train professionals abroad (e.g. nursing, trades) and place your graduates. Provider accreditation required.
Mobility / relocation agency
You support visa, recognition and arrival. Not pure placement. Memberships (FEM, ERC) and references appreciated.
German Chamber Abroad (AHK) or chamber partner
Streamlined process. Access via internal chamber confirmation rather than AÜG-style proof.
Master data of your organisation
If based in Germany, we cross-check the Handelsregister; if abroad, the relevant national registry.

Requirements for recruitment agencies based in Italy
We need your Autorizzazione Ministero del Lavoro (or equivalent) and a current extract from the Camera di Commercio. Optional certifications strengthen your application but are not required.

Realistic self-assessment, Berlin employers filter by this.
A1–A2 (basic)
Language course needed after arrival. Suitable for occupations with lower language demand.
B1 (independent communication), average
Standard for nursing recognition. Preparation course in the source country.
B2 or higher (good to advanced)
Standard for medical and academic professions. Comprehensive language preparation in the source country.

Optional, you can also do this after admission. Submitting first profiles helps the IHK partner team gauge your way of working and typically shortens the review by 1–2 working days.
