Set up two-factor authentication
Required for company accounts. This protects candidate data and means no sign-in method can be "forgotten" later.
Authenticator app (recommended)
Works with Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, 1Password and any TOTP-capable app. Set up in the next step.
FIDO2 security key
YubiKey, Nitrokey or equivalent. Highest security level, recommended for managing directors and HR leads.
SMS code
One-time code via SMS to a registered mobile number. Recommended only as a transitional solution.

We do a one-time match against the Handelsregister (commercial register) and the IHK membership directory. That saves you typing and us manual checks.

Who can issue binding job offers on behalf of your company?
Visa-relevant: only these people can issue legally binding employment commitments required for visas under §§ 18a, 18b AufenthG. You can add or remove people anytime.

Data protection and processing agreement
To process candidate data in line with GDPR, you sign the standard DPA with IHK Berlin once.
